Samira Bashar

Samira Bashar is a PhD Candidate in the Community and Regional Planning program at the University of Texas at Austin. Samira’s research interests lie at the intersection of equitable waterscape planning, informal urbanism and decolonial practices in the context of South Asia. Originally from Bangladesh, Samira received her MSCRP degree from UT and her Bachelor of Architecture degree from Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET).
