Laura Kim

Laura Kim is currently an Ada Comstock Scholar majoring in biology at Smith College. She seeks to reconcile her non-traditional background, Korean-American identity, and academia by embracing the messiness of these competing narratives. She has won numerous research and academic awards during her time at community college. Through her scholarship, resilience, and commitment to honoring every facet of her identity, she forges a path that bridges lived experience and academia with purpose and authenticity.
