boxed
entrapped
swapping one for another pact
dreams
cracked
containers
drilled and fracked
hacked
freedoms
care for a threesome?
here she comes!
twisting tongues
dwelling in duality
warping reality
kneeling under a pomegranate tree
منّت خدای را عز و جل که طاعتش موجب قربتست و به شکر اندرش مزید نعمت هر نفسی که فرو می رود ممدّ حیاتست و چون بر می آید مفرّح ذات پس در هر نفسی دو نعمت موجودست و بر هر نعمت شکری واجب

In “Baggage,” I struggle with my baggage, all that I carry with me from home. Every day I carry my memories of Iran with me–with all the emotions and thoughts that brings. This performance shows the complexity inherent in both leaving and staying.
