Amaia Mayberry

Amaia Mayberry is currently a sophomore Africana Studies and Environmental Science & Policy double major at Smith College. Hailing from the post-industrial city of Duluth, Minnesota, a city defined by its redlined roots, they have a fervent interest in the cross-section of historic and contemporary racial discrimination in housing and the implementation and enforcement of environmental policy, especially in urban centers. Amaia hopes to eventually attend law school, where they can hone their commitment to equitable environmental policy into real change.
