আমাদের দেশ সংস্কারের স্বপ্নরেখা | Our Dreams for Reconstruction

আমরা বাংলাদেশের নিম্ন-আয়ের, নন-বাইনারি এবং আদিবাসী কুইয়ার মানুষদের একটি সংগঠন। শিক্ষার্থী ও তরুণ হিসেবে বাংলাদেশের চলমান বৈষম্যবিরোধী ছাত্র আন্দোলনের সাথে আমরা যুক্ত ছিলাম, আছি এবং থাকবো। বাংলাদেশকে ফ্যাসিবাদ মুক্ত করার এই ছাত্র-জনতা গণঅভ্যুত্থানে যারা আমাদের সাথে আছেন তাদের সকলকে আমরা সংহতি জানাই। এই সংগ্রামের মধ্য দিয়ে আমরা নতুন এক বাংলাদেশের স্বপ্ন দেখি, যে বাংলাদেশ হবে মর্যাদার, যত্নের এবং আনন্দের। আমাদের এই আকাঙ্খাগুলো বাংলাদেশের সকল মুক্তিকামী মানুষের স্বপ্নের সাথে বিজড়িত।  আমাদের স্বপ্নরেখার মূল চাওয়াগুলো হলোঃ

We write as a group of queer organizers, primarily low-income, non-binary, and adibashi. As students and youth, we continue to actively participate in the ongoing anti-discrimination student movement in Bangladesh. We express solidarity with the mass uprising of students and people that brought down fascism in Bangladesh. Within this struggle, we started dreaming together for a Bangladesh of dignity, care, and joy. We believe that our dreams are intertwined with the dreams of all freedom-seeking Bangladeshis. Our aspirations are as follows:

  1. We want humane legal and constitutional reforms that abolishes and acts against all forms of discrimination, particularly with regards to gender identity and sexual orientation. Discriminatory remnants of colonialism and fascism such as Penal Code-1860 Section 377, Cyber Security Act 2023, Constitution’s Article 2(A), and others must be dismantled.
    আমরা একটি মানবিক আইনি এবং সাংবিধানিক সংস্কার চাই যা সকল প্রকার বৈষম্য, বিশেষ করে লিঙ্গ ও যৌন বৈচিত্রময় মানুষদের সাথে বৈষম্যকে দূর এবং প্রতিরোধ করে। পেনাল কোড, ১৮৬০, ধারা-৩৭৭); সাইবার নিরাপত্তা আইন, ২০২৩; ও সংবিধানের ২(ক) ধারা, এবং অন্যান্য উপনিবেশ এবং ফ্যাসিবাদের অবশিষ্টাংশ আইন ও নীতিগুলোকে তুলে ফেলতে চাই।
  2. We want an end to violence and harassment against people of diverse gender and sexuality everywhere. We want to live, work, play, and love with dignity and joy.
    আমরা সমাজের সকল স্তরে লিঙ্গ ও যৌন বৈচিত্র্যময় মানুষদের প্রতি সহিংসতা ও নির্যাতন বন্ধ করতে চাই। আমরা চাই, সবাই যথাযথ মর্যাদা এবং আনন্দ নিয়ে বাঁচুক, ভালবাসুক এবং জীবনধারণ করুক।
  3. We want an end to the militarized oppression of our adibashi communities in the hills. We want a fair system where adibashi communities have access to equal rights of citizenship.
    আমরা চাই, পাহাড়ে আমাদের আদিবাসী নাগরিকদের উপর সেনাবাহিনীর জুলুম ও শোষণ শেষ হোক। সেনাবাহিনীকে স্থায়ীভাবে প্রত্যাহারের মাধ্যমে, বাংলাদেশের নাগরিক হিসেবে আমাদের আদিবাসী মানুষদের অধিকারের ন্যায্যতা নিশ্চিত করা হোক।
  4. We want curricula of justice that fosters democratic citizenship, historical understanding and respect of diversity, including gender and sexual diversity, in the educational system. As an extension of democratic education, we support non-partisan and democratic student politics in educational institutions.
    আমরা আমাদের শিক্ষাব্যবস্থায় একটি ইনসাফের শিক্ষাক্রম চাই, যা গণতান্ত্রিক নাগরিকত্বের আদর্শকে লালন করে, লিঙ্গ ও যৌন বৈচিত্র্যসহ সকল ধরণের বৈচিত্র্যকে ঐতিহাসিকভাবে বোঝে এবং সম্মান করে। গণতান্ত্রিক শিক্ষার চর্চা হিসেবে, আমরা শিক্ষাপ্রতিষ্ঠানে নির্দলীয় এবং গণতান্ত্রিক ছাত্ররাজনীতিকে সমর্থন করি।
  5. We want freedom for social justice organizing. All existing restrictions on social justice organizing, such as restrictions on funding and legal regulations, must be lifted. We want to publicly and freely associate, assemble, and express ourselves.
    আমরা ন্যায়ভিত্তিক সামাজিক আন্দোলনের মুক্ত পরিসর চাই এবং এর বিরুদ্ধে বিদ্যমান সকল বাধাসমূহকে, বিশেষ করে আর্থিক সহায়তায় বাধা এবং আইনি জটিলতা অবসান চাই। আমরা জনপরিসরে এবং জনসম্মুখে নিরাপদভাবে মতপ্রকাশের, সভা-সমাবেশের এবং সংগঠন করার স্বাধীনতা চাই।
  6. We want a truly participatory democracy at all levels, without tokenism, where every voice can speak and be heard, and where queer community’s interests are knowledgeably represented.
    আমরা একটি সত্যিকারের অংশগ্রহণমূলক গণতন্ত্র চাই, যেখানে সবকথার জায়গা থাকবে, এবং যেখানে টোকেনিজমের বদলে কুইয়ার মানুষদের সাম্য ও মর্যাদার জ্ঞানভিত্তিক প্রতিনিধিত্ব থাকবে।
  7. From hills to plains, we want a caring economic and political system that moves beyond destructive profit-seeking development. We want prosperity that is beneficial to people and ecology.
    পাহাড় থেকে সমতলে, সবখানে আমরা ধ্বংসাত্মক মুনাফালোভী উন্নয়নের বাইরে একটি যত্নশীল/পালনবাদি অর্থনৈতিক এবং রাজনৈতিক ব্যবস্থা চাই যার মূললক্ষ্য হবে প্রাণ ও প্রকৃতির সমৃদ্ধি।

A new Bangladesh is arriving. People from all walks of life are dreaming into this Bangladesh. The aspirations we offer do not represent the desires of all Bangladeshi queers, and we encourage other queer voices to express their own aspirations as we weave our dreams into a tapestry of queer and feminist futures in Bangladesh. We invite all our co-agitators to join us in imagining a Bangladesh of justice, dignity, solidarity, care, and joy.
আমাদের সামনে এক নতুন বাংলাদেশ তৈরি হচ্ছে। সর্বস্তরের মানুষ এই নতুন বাংলাদেশের স্বপ্ন দেখছে। আমাদের আকাঙ্ক্ষাগুলো বাংলাদেশের সকল কুইয়ার মানুষের স্বপ্নগুলোকে প্রতিফলিত করে না; তাই আমরা অন্য সকল কুইয়ার মানুষদের তাদের নিজ নিজ স্বপ্নগুলোকে তুলে ধরার জন্য উৎসাহিত করি। এক নতুন সমাজ বিনির্মাণের এই বিশাল আয়োজনে আমরা আমাদের স্বপ্নগুলোকে বুনে দিতে চাই। আমরা সকল সহযোদ্ধাদের আহবান জানাই আমাদের সাথে এমন এক বাংলাদেশের স্বপ্ন দেখার যেটি হবে ন্যায়ের, মর্যাদার, সংহতির, যত্নের এবং আনন্দের।
